Paul Feldman, the course instructor and the creator of “Finding
the Melody”, has had a passion for Jazz, as a listener, player, student and teacher, for over 25 years. He studied Jazz saxophone and theory at Columbia University with Jazz educator and saxophone player Paul Jeffries, and at New York City 's Jazzmobile. He also studied Jazz History with Ron Carter (the Bass player in Miles Davis' most famous Quintet) at the City College of New York.
He is a member of the International Association for Jazz Education (IAJE).

When Paul is not teaching or listening to Jazz, he is a telecommunications attorney.
